Our 2010 Reunion Attention troopers! The 82nd Signal Battalion Reunion was extremely successful, if you were unable to attend you certinaly missed out. The Reunion Committee organized and executed two days of activities filled with camaraderie in a good ole relaxed military way. Friday afternoon, July 16th, and well into the evening hours war stories were swapped, relationships rekindled, and liquid courage and treats consumed. Each registered person was given their own "goody bag". A drawing for a pistol was held and winner drawn, Terry Fenwick. Many thanks are extended to the Special Forces Clubhouse for hosting our event. On Saturday, July 17th, the morning was beautiful and afforded the opportunity to dedicate a unit paver to the Battalion that is permanetly on display at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum located in downtown Fayetteville. LTG Via offered his word during the dedication and a group of paratroopers were recognized for their efforts in the Division and oganizing the Reunion. In the afternoon, a bar-b-cue commenced near McKellars Lodge on Fort Bragg and we all ate very well. Afterward MSG Moffitt was recognized for his service and soon to be retirement. Without the generosity of our Veterans and interested persons, none of these activites would have been possible.
